Ross Speth Jessop, 81, of Hyrum, passed away Friday, September 8, 2017, in North Logan, Utah. He was born June 13, 1936, in Nibley, Utah, to Charles Reed and Bertha Pauline Jessop.

He attended Millville Elementary and South Cache High School, where he met his high school sweetheart, Carol Nielsen. He was a drywall sheet rocker by trade and worked many years in the Ogden area.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; children: Leslie (Kirk) Allred, North Ogden, UT; Curtis (deceased) (Sheila) Jessop, Nibley, UT; and Rick (Simone) Jessop, Oak Ridge, NC; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Delores Wolcott, Phoenix, AZ; and Carol Leishman, Wellsville, UT. He was proceeded in death by his parents, brothers: RL Jessop, Ray Jessop, Clair Lex Jessop; and son, Curtis Ross Jessop.

A viewing will be held at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center Street, Logan, on Friday, September 15, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Millville Cemetery on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at 11 a.m.
